<p>Our downtown Vancouver mining client is looking to hire a Director of Finance for their organization. This is a company poised for significant growth over the next few years as they move towards development and eventual production. Reporting to the CFO the Director of Finance will take ownership of all financial reporting, ensuring compliance with IFRS and ASX listing rules and regulations, lead and oversee month end, quarter end and year end reporting and play an integral role in setting up future accounting processes as the organization evolves.</p><p><br></p><p>The Director of Finance will oversee corporate accounting activities, including accounts payable, general ledger, fixed asset management and global payroll and benefits, ensuring accurate and complete records and also play a key role in the upcoming ERP conversion (likely to MS Dynamics Business Central).</p><p><br></p><p>Additional scope of responsibilities will include:</p><p>• Enhancing internal financial controls to support the company as it enters the construction phase, ensuring compliance with federal and provincial regulations, and coordinate the completion of audits.</p><p>• Overseeing corporate tax compliance and support the CFO with tax planning.</p><p>• Overseeing finance for the foreign subsidiary, including reviewing work of the Financial Accountant and ensuring compliance with Australian Companies Act and Tax rules.
