Receptionist
<p>We are looking for an experienced and dependable <strong>Receptionist</strong> to support daily front-desk operations for a Contract position based in <strong>Toronto, Ontario</strong>. This opportunity is a <strong>2-week assignment starting this Monday, with potential to extend longer</strong>. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who enjoys creating a welcoming experience, managing communications efficiently, and keeping administrative tasks organized. The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining smooth office flow while providing attentive service to visitors, clients, and internal teams.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Welcome visitors in a courteous and attentive manner and direct them to the appropriate person or department.</p><p>• Manage a multi-line phone system, respond to incoming inquiries, and transfer calls accurately and promptly.</p><p>• Coordinate appointment scheduling and maintain calendars to support efficient daily operations.</p><p>• Prepare, sort, and update digital and physical records to ensure information is accurate and easy to access.</p><p>• Draft and respond to routine email correspondence with clarity and care.</p><p>• Enter and maintain data in office systems with strong attention to detail and timeliness.</p><p>• Support administrative tasks using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook to assist with reporting, communication, and document preparation.</p><p>• Help keep office files and general reception areas organized to promote a smooth and welcoming environment.</p>
<p>• Previous experience in a receptionist or front-desk role required.</p><p>• Demonstrated ability to operate a multi-line telephone system in a busy office setting.</p><p>• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a detail-oriented and approachable manner.</p><p>• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.</p><p>• Accurate data entry skills and the ability to manage routine administrative details effectively.</p><p>• Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to interact positively with visitors, clients, and colleagues.</p><p>• Strong organizational abilities, including maintaining files and coordinating appointments efficiently.</p>
