<p><strong>The Company</strong></p><p>Our client is an ad agency based in Toronto and they are looking for a Freelance HTML Developer to support on a project-basis. This is a remote opportunity, ability to work hybrid as needed in Toronto is ideal. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>The Position</strong></p><p>As a Freelance HTML Developer, you'll bring digital concepts to life across a variety of formats, including HTML banner ads, and dynamic display units. You’ll collaborate closely with designers and strategists to deliver clean, responsive, and visually compelling experiences.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Develop and code HTML-based deliverables including emails, banners, and dynamic display ads.</li><li>Translate static design files into functional, responsive digital assets.</li><li>Troubleshoot and debug existing code to ensure compatibility and performance across devices and platforms.</li><li>Work within platforms such as <strong>Google Studio</strong> and <strong>Google Web Designer</strong> to build, edit, and deploy creative.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines and client expectations.</li></ul>

<ul><li>3+ years of experience with HTML Development, or similar.</li><li><strong>Proficient in HTML</strong> with a solid understanding of semantic, clean markup.</li><li>Working knowledge of <strong>CSS</strong> and <strong>JavaScript</strong>; experience troubleshooting and optimizing front-end code.</li><li>Familiarity with <strong>GSAP (GreenSock Animation Platform)</strong> is a strong plus (training available if you're strong in JS).</li><li>Experience creating digital assets for the advertising space—especially email and banner campaigns.</li><li><strong>Strong visual design sensibility</strong> and attention to detail in layout, typography, and user experience.</li><li>Experience working with platforms like <strong>Google Studio</strong> and <strong>Google Web Designer</strong> is preferred.</li></ul>
