We are looking for an experienced Fractional Controller to support the financial operations of an organization through a contract engagement. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting specialist who can provide reliable oversight on a part-time basis while remaining available during key business hours. The successful candidate will bring sound judgment, discretion, and strong attention to detail to manage core accounting activities, payroll, and month-end reporting.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities and help maintain accurate, well-organized financial records.<br>• Process payroll in QuickBooks for employees, ensuring timely and accurate payment administration.<br>• Lead month-end close activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, and preparation of financial reports.<br>• Monitor financial information for accuracy and identify discrepancies that require correction or follow-up.<br>• Provide ongoing controller-level support on a fractional schedule, with flexibility to contribute additional time during busier periods.<br>• Maintain strict confidentiality when handling payroll, financial data, and other sensitive business information.<br>• Collaborate with leadership to support financial decision-making and keep essential accounting processes running smoothly.
