Change and Training Manager
We are looking for a Change and Training Manager to lead the people side of transformation initiatives for a global operational effectiveness program in Toronto, Ontario. This Long-term Contract position will shape communication and learning strategies that help teams understand, adopt, and sustain new ways of working. The successful candidate will partner with stakeholders across the business to deliver structured change plans, practical training solutions, and strong engagement throughout the program lifecycle.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Develop and execute comprehensive change management and training plans that support enterprise transformation goals.<br>• Create clear communication materials that explain upcoming changes, outline impacts, and encourage stakeholder engagement.<br>• Design and deliver training programs, learning resources, and support tools tailored to different user groups.<br>• Work closely with project leaders, business partners, and subject matter experts to align adoption activities with program milestones.<br>• Assess organizational readiness, identify adoption risks, and recommend actions to improve acceptance and participation.<br>• Apply recognized change management frameworks, including ADKAR, to guide implementation and reinforce lasting behavioural change.<br>• Monitor feedback, training effectiveness, and change adoption metrics to refine strategies and improve outcomes.<br>• Support cultural alignment initiatives that help embed transformation priorities into day-to-day operations.
• 5 to 7 years of experience building and delivering change management and training strategies in a corporate environment.<br>• Bachelor’s degree combined with relevant experience in business transformation, change, or learning initiatives.<br>• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and encourage the uptake of new processes, tools, or ways of working.<br>• Strong understanding of end-to-end change adoption practices, including communications, readiness, reinforcement, and cultural alignment.<br>• Hands-on experience using structured change methodologies such as ADKAR or similar frameworks.<br>• Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to present information clearly to varied audiences.<br>• Familiarity with transformation programs and technology-related initiatives, including collaboration with software development or project teams.
