This is a 6-month contract-to-hire role, with the opportunity to convert to a permanent position based on performance and business needs.</p><p><br></p><p>About the Role</p><p><br></p><p>We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a team responsible for building and operating modern digital platforms across web, mobile, and cloud environments. This role blends people leadership, Agile delivery, platform ownership, and technical strategy.</p><p>You will work closely with Product, Technology, and Business teams to deliver scalable, high-quality digital experiences while driving engineering excellence and continuous improvement.</p><p><br></p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Lead, coach, and develop a team of software engineers, including performance management and career development.</li><li>Oversee delivery of Agile software projects from planning through production release.</li><li>Own platform reliability, performance, monitoring, and incident management.</li><li>Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.</li><li>Drive technical strategy, architecture, and modern engineering practices.</li><li>Support recruitment, onboarding, and team growth.</li><li>Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.</li></ul>

<p><strong>Required Experience</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years leading software engineering teams.</li><li>5+ years delivering Agile application development projects.</li><li>Experience managing full lifecycle delivery (kickoff to production).</li><li>Strong background in web, mobile, cloud, and enterprise applications.</li><li>Experience with platform operations, production support, and monitoring.</li><li>Comfortable working across multiple teams, stakeholders, and time zones.</li></ul><p><strong>Technical Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Microservices and API-based architectures</li><li>Cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS acceptable)</li><li>CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices</li><li>React, TypeScript, Next.js</li><li>.NET or Node.js</li><li>REST APIs and system integrations</li><li>Git-based development workflows</li><li>Application monitoring and performance tuning</li></ul><p><strong>Nice to Have</strong></p><ul><li>E-commerce, retail, hospitality, or SaaS experience</li><li>Salesforce or Adobe Experience Manager</li><li>AI-enabled solutions or platforms</li><li>Oracle, Amadeus, or enterprise system experience</li><li>TOGAF or architecture certification</li><li>Scrum Master or PMP certification</li></ul><p><strong>Education</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field</li><li>MBA is an asset</li></ul><p><strong>Our specialized recruiting professionals apply their expertise and utilize our proprietary AI to find you great job matches faster. </strong></p>
