Logistics Coordinator
<p>We are looking for a detail-oriented <strong>Logistics Coordinator</strong> to join our dynamic team in Mississauga, Ontario. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about logistics, this position is perfect for you.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Must-Haves</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Hands-on experience in a 3PL environment</strong> – transportation, freight brokerage, dispatch, or carrier coordination</li><li><strong>Experience managing both inbound and outbound shipments</strong></li><li><strong>Direct experience working with carriers</strong> (scheduling, tracking, issue resolution)</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Coordinate daily shipment schedules, including pickups, deliveries, and consolidations across domestic and international channels</li><li>Monitor and track freight movements from dispatch to delivery, proactively resolving delays or issues</li><li>Prepare and manage shipping documentation such as bills of lading, customs paperwork, packing slips, and labels</li><li>Work closely with carriers, brokers, warehouse teams, and customer service<strong> </strong>to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment</li><li>Maintain accurate shipment data in logistics and transportation systems, providing real-time updates to stakeholders</li><li>Support inventory management through discrepancy reconciliation and cycle counts</li><li>Communicate shipment status, delays, and exceptions clearly to customers and internal teams</li><li>Assist with carrier selection, rate negotiations, and continuous improvement initiatives</li><li>Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, health & safety standards, and company policies</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
<ul><li>1–3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain, ideally within a 3PL, transportation, brokerage, or dispatch environment</li><li>Proven experience coordinating both inbound and outbound freight</li><li>Strong working knowledge of carrier management and freight movement from pickup to delivery</li><li>Experience with logistics systems such as CargoWise, TMS, ERP, or CRM platforms</li><li>Solid understanding of freight documentation, routing, and transportation processes</li><li>Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills</li><li>Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability</li><li>Ability to perform in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment</li><li>Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirements</li></ul><p><br></p>
