E-Commerce Specialist
<p>We are looking for a skilled E-Commerce Specialist to join our client's team. This 6-month contract (remote) position focuses on enhancing our client's presence on Amazon and other e-commerce platforms, driving sales growth, and ensuring their digital content is competitive and engaging. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product visibility and optimize online strategies within the manufacturing industry.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Analyze and create competitive charts for the Canadian Amazon product assortment, following established structures.</p><p>• Regularly review and update Amazon product pages to identify gaps and opportunities in key categories.</p><p>• Conduct audits of competitor A+ content, including videos, images, and written materials, to enhance our own content strategy.</p><p>• Collaborate with creative teams to design and implement updated content, ensuring it is effectively uploaded to relevant platforms.</p><p>• Monitor and manage content using Content Management Systems (CMS) such as Salsify and internal image banks.</p><p>• Develop strategies to improve product visibility and sales performance on Amazon and other retailer systems.</p><p>• Work closely with marketing and sales teams to align e-commerce initiatives with broader business goals.</p><p>• Utilize tools like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to create visually appealing content for digital platforms.</p><p>• Provide insights on digital trends and opportunities to maintain competitiveness in the e-commerce space.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with best practices for online content deployment and management.</p>
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, E-Commerce, Digital Marketing, Communications, or related field.<br>• Proven experience working within an e-commerce or digital marketing team, with a focus on web content development.<br>• Proficiency in using Content Management Systems, such as Salsify or similar platforms.<br>• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.<br>• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.<br>• Experience with Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator and Microsoft Office applications.<br>• Familiarity with deploying content on retailer systems like Amazon Vendor Central or WebCollage.<br>• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for developing competitive and engaging digital content.
