Sr. Financial Analyst
<p>Our client is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join a manufacturing organization in outside of Ottawa&#39;s east-end. In this role, you will deliver financial insight that supports pricing decisions, operational planning, and executive reporting. You will work closely with leaders across sales, operations, and finance to interpret performance trends, strengthen forecasting accuracy, and guide informed business decisions in a fast-moving environment.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>• Partner with the commercial team to evaluate product costing, develop pricing guidance, and assess quote profitability through margin and sales analysis.</p><p>• Produce monthly reporting packages, forward-looking forecasts, and updated projections to help leadership monitor performance and adjust plans as needed.</p><p>• Manage the accuracy and completeness of financial information maintained in OneStream, including regular updates and data validation.</p><p>• Conduct revenue recognition reviews to ensure financial reporting aligns with applicable U.S. GAAP requirements.</p><p>• Examine detailed financial and operational results, translate findings into clear insights, and recommend actions that support business objectives.</p><p>• Create concise presentations, dashboards, and executive-level summaries for the President and senior leadership team.</p><p>• Collaborate across finance, sales, and operations to support planning activities, performance reviews, and ad hoc analysis.</p><p>• Respond effectively to shifting priorities and tight timelines within a dynamic manufacturing setting while maintaining high-quality analysis and reporting.</p>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p>• Proven experience in a senior financial analysis role within a manufacturing environment.</p><p>• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and month-end financial reporting processes.</p><p>• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and its application to revenue recognition and financial analysis.</p><p>• Hands-on experience with financial and business systems, with OneStream expertise preferred.</p><p>• Advanced capability in Power BI and strong proficiency with reporting and data analysis tools.</p><p>• Experience with Dynamics 365 is considered a strong asset.</p><p>• Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex information to senior stakeholders.</p><p>• Bilingual communication skills in English and French are considered an asset.</p><p><br></p><p>If this position interests you and you have the key qualifications above, please do not hesitate and apply online today or call us at 613-236-4253!</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Reference Number:</strong> 0013440455</p>
