<p><strong>Operations Controller (24-Month Contract)</strong></p><p>Location: Delta, BC (On-Site)</p><p>Term: 24-month fixed-term contract</p><p>Compensation: $120-140K per annum, commensurate with experience </p><p>(Relocation may be considered for candidates who meet all qualifications listed below and are looking to move to BC from another Canadian province) </p><p><br></p><p><strong>About the Opportunity</strong></p><p>We are partnering with a well-established, operationally driven organization in Delta to recruit an Operations Controller for a 24-month contract. This is a highly hands-on leadership role, ideal for a seasoned finance professional who has operated at the hands-on controllership level and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This role sits at the core of the finance function, overseeing accounting operations across a multi-entity structure while supporting financial planning, reporting, and overall business performance.</p>

<p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience</strong></p><ul><li>CPA designation </li><li>5-10+ years of progressive finance experience, including direct controllership or senior leadership at a management level for at least 2 years </li><li>Proven experience overseeing multi-entity / group of companies&#39; structures, with consolidated reporting into a parent organization</li><li>Experience managing financial operations for large organizations such as pubco or private entities with at least $100M+ in annual revenue</li><li>Strong expertise in IFRS reporting, including preparation and review of consolidated financial statements</li><li>Background in manufacturing, construction, or other operational/asset-heavy environments preferred</li><li>Strong understanding of internal controls, audit processes, and financial governance </li><li>Hands-on leadership experience with the ability to operate both at a detailed and oversight level (managing teams of 3+ direct reports) </li><li>Hands on experience with ERP system environments and managing costing and inventory functions </li></ul><p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p><ul><li>A proven Controller-level leader who has already operated in a similar environment</li><li>Strong communicator who can effectively bridge finance and operations</li><li>Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, timelines, and accountability with a tight month end close deadlines </li><li>Adaptable and comfortable stepping into a contract role with immediate impact expectations</li></ul><p><strong>Why This Role?</strong></p><ul><li>Opportunity to step into a high-impact leadership role within an established organization</li><li>Lead an existing, capable team while driving structure and performance</li><li>Exposure to both supporting core controllership and FP&amp;A functions</li><li>Clear mandate to support operational efficiency and financial integrity</li><li>Opportunity to help improve current financial processes, reporting and systems </li></ul><p><br></p><p>If this sounds like the role is for you, please apply today!
