Facilities Assistant
<p>Our client is looking for a dedicated <strong>Facilities Assistant </strong>to join and support their team in Calgary, Alberta. This role offers the opportunity to support the day-to-day operation of workplace facilities and services. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and capable of managing multiple priorities while coordinating vendors, supporting building operations, and contributing to a safe, efficient, and well-maintained work environment.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Coordinate service providers and contractors, ensuring safe site access and completion of work.</li><li>Monitor building systems and equipment, identify issues, and arrange repairs or technical support as needed.</li><li>Support specialized facility systems, including lighting, solar equipment, EV chargers, window coverings, and traffic monitoring devices.</li><li>Set up meeting spaces and assist with workplace events and office activities.</li><li>Manage workplace supply inventory and order replenishments as required.</li><li>Obtain vendor quotes, support purchase orders, and follow up on project requests.</li><li>Perform routine safety, building, and fire extinguisher inspections, addressing and documenting corrective actions.</li><li>Oversee cleaning standards and coordinate seasonal services such as snow removal and landscaping.</li><li>Track and respond to maintenance requests, assigning work internally or to contractors as appropriate.</li></ul>
