<p>Our client is seeking a Contract<strong> Accountant & Payroll </strong>to support their multi-entity retail operation. This role is a blend of payroll processing, account reconciliations, and month/year-end close support.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Process semi-monthly payroll (hourly, salaried, commission, piecework)</li><li>Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and perform payroll reconciliations</li><li>Support month-end and year-end close, including inventory and work in process entries</li><li>Reconcile accounts, assist with remittances (GST, etc.)</li><li>Oversee performance of AP/AR teams (not data entry)</li><li>Prepare reports and analysis for leadership</li><li>Ad-hoc duties as requested</li></ul>
