Financial Analyst
We are looking for a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team in Burlington, Ontario, on a long-term contract basis. This role involves overseeing financial forecasts, budgets, and reports while providing valuable insights to support decision-making. If you have a strong analytical mindset and thrive in dynamic environments, we encourage you to apply.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Review and adjust financial forecasts and budgets to ensure accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.<br>• Analyze weekly reports to identify and address forecasting discrepancies promptly.<br>• Investigate and resolve system, business, and process-related inquiries related to demand budgets.<br>• Provide detailed explanations and solutions to users regarding financial data and processes.<br>• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and decision-making.<br>• Prepare and review journal entries to ensure compliance with accounting standards.<br>• Utilize tools such as Excel, Crystal Reports, and Spark Hive to analyze financial statements and data.<br>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes and reporting capabilities.<br>• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders across various levels of the organization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.<br>• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities to interact effectively with stakeholders.<br>• Proven ability to adapt and excel in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Access.<br>• Experience with financial tools such as Crystal Reports and Spark Hive.<br>• Post-secondary education in Business, Economics, or Finance from a recognized college or university.<br>• Demonstrated ability to perform ad-hoc financial analysis and prepare accurate journal entries.<br>• Familiarity with analyzing and interpreting financial statements.
