Briefcase is the primary application used by lawyers and paralegals to manage cases from intake through resolution.<br><br>The company has evaluated two third-party AI tools for integration with Briefcase and determined that neither provides sufficient value for the cost. Leadership has decided to pursue a fully internal AI development initiative, customized to the firm's specific workflows and case management processes.<br><br>The goal of the AI initiative is to reduce the administrative burden on attorneys, allowing them to stay focused on casework rather than day-to-day operational tasks.
