<p>Our client is seeking an <strong>Independent CEO Search Governance and Transition Advisor</strong> to support the Board of Directors and CEO Search Committee during a CEO search and leadership transition. This consultant will provide independent governance oversight to help ensure a fair, confidential, and well-structured search process.</p><p>This is <strong>not a recruiting role</strong>. The executive search firm will manage candidate recruitment and assessment, while this advisor will establish and monitor the governance framework surrounding the search. Experience in the nonprofit industry is required. This role is a part-time consulting role expected to be about 8 hours a week of commitment. This role can be fully remote.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Develop the governance structure for the CEO search, including charter documents, decision-rights, confidentiality, conflict-of-interest, recusal, and communication protocols</li><li>Clarify roles of the Board, Search Committee, CEO, COO, Corporate Secretary, and search firm</li><li>Advise the Search Committee on governance risks, Board independence, and process integrity</li><li>Establish clear boundaries for the Corporate Secretary’s role in supporting the search</li><li>Create a fair and consistent protocol for evaluating the internal candidate alongside external candidates</li><li>Coordinate with the executive search firm to ensure alignment with the Board-approved governance framework</li><li>Support documentation of key decisions, recusals, and process milestones</li><li>Facilitate sensitive governance discussions and escalate material concerns when appropriate</li></ul><p><br></p>
<p>We are seeking an experienced General Manager with hands-on production experience working with hazardous materials and SDS requirements in a chemical or similar regulated setting. This General Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership across production, warehouse, inventory, and fulfillment functions, be responsible for driving operational efficiency, maintaining strong safety culture, developing high-performing teams, and supporting the continued growth and scalability of the organization. The ideal candidate will review financial performance and KPIs, coach/manage operations managers/supervisors, assume full responsibility for operational budgeting and P&L, and ensure own site OSHA compliance while keeping the lines running safely and efficiently.</p><p> </p><p><strong><em><u>What you get to work on daily</u></em></strong></p><p>· Lead and continuously improve operational systems, workflows, processes, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).</p><p>· Promote and maintain a strong culture of workplace safety while ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and other applicable requirements.</p><p>· Oversee inventory accuracy, inventory control, fulfillment activities, and material movement throughout the operation.</p><p>· Develop workforce plans to effectively manage seasonal fluctuations, staffing demands, and changing business needs.</p><p>· Establish, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive accountability, productivity, and continuous improvement.</p><p>· Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop team members while building a collaborative and high-performing leadership team.</p><p>· Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions that support organizational growth.</p><p>· Maintain familiarity with RF-scanning Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and bin-location inventory practices.</p><p>· Remain actively involved in hands-on production operations, including working around automated production lines and supporting floor-level operational needs.</p><p>· Ensure appropriate procedures are followed for hazardous materials and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) management within a chemical environment.</p><p>· Oversee the safe operation and certification programs associated with warehouse equipment, including turret, reach, and counter-balance forklifts.</p>
