Data Center Technician We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Data Center Technician in Ashburn, Virginia. This role is integral to our operations, with duties centering around managing infrastructure installation requests, supporting power downs and single-sided events, certifying infrastructure network connections and peripherals, and coordinating work requests with electrical contractors.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br><br>• Manage and oversee infrastructure installation requests from start to finish<br>• Support and facilitate power downs and single-sided events<br>• Certify infrastructure network connections and peripherals prior to their transition to DCS<br>• Collaborate with the BAU team to provide any additional infrastructure<br>• Coordinate with BU's and Hines engineering<br>• Work with electrical contractors to ensure all service levels are met<br>• Provide detailed estimates of assigned projects and document requirements through direct communication with IT or Project Management teams<br>• Create and monitor Tickets/TCMs for approval, and closeout/cancel them once work is complete<br>• Coordinate power remediation from start to completion<br>• Assist with rack level capacity management and MOA monitoring<br>• Participate in meetings pertaining to BAU or projects INF work<br>• Provide Root Cause Analysis reports regarding power issues<br>• Coordinate the Infrastructure Installs including but not limited to Power installs, Infrastructure & Rack installs, and Infrastructure Cabling (Fiber and copper)<br>• Oversee equipment procurement process, including ordering of all infrastructure materials, tracking Purchase Orders, and managing Infrastructure Stock Systems Engineer <p>Are you looking to leverage your Linux and Kubernetes knowledge and ready to take on a new challenge?
