Responsibilities: • Research emerging and updated accounting guidance and assess how it affects transactions, reporting positions, and corporate accounting practices. • Prepare technical accounting analyses and supporting memoranda for areas such as equity-based compensation, hedging activity, segment disclosures, lease accounting, and impairment considerations. • Coordinate periodic external reporting activities, including major regulatory filings, earnings-related disclosures, and supporting schedules tied to the reporting calendar. • Produce quarterly and annual financial statement components, including cash flow reporting, and review data tagging accuracy for electronic filing requirements. • Draft and refine disclosures related to new accounting standards, significant transactions, and notable changes in financial results. • Execute key reporting controls by completing disclosure check procedures, reconciliations, certifications, and detailed tie-out reviews. • Evaluate industry reporting practices, regulatory correspondence trends, and peer disclosures to recommend enhancements to company reporting and policy positions. • Maintain and update accounting policies, support audit requests, and contribute to process improvements using reporting tools such as Workiva, Hyperion, or similar systems. • Partner with internal teams on special finance projects, provide reporting support for related compliance activities, and help train stakeholders on reporting tools and accounting updates.
