- <p>Robert Half is seeking a highly skilled <strong>Systems Engineer</strong> for an upcoming client engagement in the Tucson area. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, supporting, and optimizing enterprise infrastructure environments across on-premises and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Windows Server administration, virtualization technologies, cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and enterprise systems management.</p><p>This position requires a proactive technical professional who can collaborate with IT teams, business stakeholders, and leadership to ensure high availability, performance, and security across the organization's infrastructure.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Design, implement, and maintain enterprise server, storage, and infrastructure solutions.</li><li>Administer and support Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related services.</li><li>Manage virtualization platforms including VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V.</li><li>Support cloud infrastructure initiatives within Microsoft Azure and/or AWS environments.</li><li>Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity planning to ensure optimal operation.</li><li>Perform system upgrades, patch management, and infrastructure lifecycle management.</li><li>Develop and maintain disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity solutions.</li><li>Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, server, storage, network, and application issues.</li><li>Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement security best practices and maintain compliance requirements.</li><li>Configure and support identity and access management solutions, including Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).</li><li>Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.</li><li>Participate in infrastructure projects, migrations, cloud transformations, and system modernization initiatives.</li><li>Provide Tier III escalation support and technical leadership for infrastructure-related incidents.</li></ul><p><br></p>
