The role involves overseeing all accounting functions for our organization, with a focus on using Accounting Software Systems and Microsoft Excel. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing month-end close and closing books, offering a unique opportunity to work within a growing non-profit making a difference.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p><br></p><p>• Oversee all accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)</p><p>• Manage month-end close and ensure all financial data is accurate</p><p>-Reconciling the books</p><p>• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and analysis</p><p>• Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy</p><p>• Use QuickBooks Online for managing and processing financial transactions</p><p>• Monitor financial transactions and reports to ensure compliance with financial regulations</p><p>• Collaborate with other team members to improve and streamline accounting processes</p><p>• Stay updated with industry trends and changes in regulations related to accounting and financial reporting</p><p>-Act as backup to receptionist, answer calls as needed, and assist in additional administrative tasks around the office</p>
