Reporting to the Regional Controller, Sr. Accountant responsibilities include: <br><br>• Preparing the analysis and explanation of the plant performance, explaining all production variances on a monthly basis as well as participating in the proactive measures to reduce variances from standard cost.<br>• Preparing accurate and timely monthly and quarterly analyses according to the financial closing calendar.<br>• Preparing and tracking CAPEX budget in comparison to actuals, along with disposal & cycle counts of assets.<br>• Preparing all account analysis (Flux file) & forecasting processes including the accuracy of standard costs, month end closing and any plant financial forecasts and projections.<br>• Reporting variances to manager and preparing reporting standards in a manner that plant<br>management can understand and take corrective action.<br>• Reviewing journal entries, general ledgers, and other subsidiary financial ledgers.<br>• Other duties as assigned.<br><br>Minimum Sr. Accountant qualifications:<br>• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration<br>• 3+ years plant/manufacturing experience with standard cost and inventory<br>• ERP experience, MS Dynamics is a plus, intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills <br><br>Our client offers a comprehensive benefits package and competitive salary plus bonus depending on experience.
