  • <p>A growing organization is seeking a <strong>Tax Director</strong> to join its team <strong>onsite in Spokane, Washington</strong>. This leadership role will oversee complex federal and multi‑state partnership tax compliance and planning activities, working closely with senior leadership, internal teams, and external advisors across a multi‑state portfolio.</p><p><strong>This is a full‑time, onsite position based in Spokane, WA.</strong></p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Lead all federal and multi‑state partnership tax compliance, including preparation and review of complex tiered partnership returns (Form 1065 and related state filings).</li><li>Direct advanced tax research on partnership‑specific issues, including tax deferral strategies, allocations, basis calculations, at‑risk and passive activity rules, and carried interest considerations.</li><li>Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize the organization’s overall tax position across multiple jurisdictions.</li><li>Manage and coordinate relationships with external tax advisors, CPAs, and legal counsel.</li><li>Monitor federal and state legislative and regulatory developments impacting partnership taxation and advise leadership on potential impacts.</li><li>Oversee tax provision calculations and support financial reporting requirements.</li><li>Partner cross‑functionally with accounting, legal, and operational teams to support acquisitions, dispositions, and restructurings.</li><li>Build, mentor, and lead internal tax staff, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.</li><li>Ensure the timely and accurate filing of partnership tax returns and estimated payments across all applicable jurisdictions.</li></ul><p><strong>BENEFITS OFFERED:</strong></p><ul><li>SALARY RANGE: $130,000-$150,000</li><li>Healthcare Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision</li><li>Other Insurance: HRA and FSA accounts available</li><li>Retirement Plan: Simple IRA with a 3% match</li><li>PTO: 128 hours first year and 10 paid holidays</li></ul>
