We’re working with a local organization in the Liberty Lake area that has an immediate need for interim accounting support due to bandwidth constraints and time-sensitive priorities.Top preference is a Controller-level contractor but we are very open to a strong Senior Accountant or Cost Accountant who can step in quickly, own the work, and operate at a high level. Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Own month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial review</li><li>Perform balance sheet reconciliations and clean up any discrepancies</li><li>Support cost accounting / inventory analysis (if applicable)</li><li>Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis</li><li>Help improve and document processes and internal controls</li><li>Provide general accounting support to alleviate workload across the team</li></ul>What We’re Looking For:<ul><li>Controller, Sr. Accountant, or Cost Accountant background</li><li>Strong GL and reconciliation experience</li><li>Experience in mid-to-large ERP systems (manufacturing or cost environments a plus)</li><li>Ability to jump in quickly, work independently, and drive results</li><li>High attention to detail and a proactive approach</li></ul>
