  • Position Overview<br> We are seeking a hands-on Senior Cost Accountant to support a manufacturing organization. This role will be responsible for cost accounting, inventory analysis, manufacturing reporting, and ERP-related process improvements within a D365 environment. The ideal candidate brings strong manufacturing finance experience and the ability to partner with operations to drive accuracy and insight across the business.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><br>Maintain and analyze standard costs, BOMs, routings, and inventory transactions.<br>Perform cost variance analysis including labor, material, overhead, and production variances.<br>Support month-end close activities, inventory reconciliations, and journal entries.<br>Analyze manufacturing performance and provide reporting on product costs, margins, and operational KPIs.<br>Partner with plant operations, supply chain, and production leadership to improve cost visibility and profitability.<br>Assist with inventory cycle counts, physical inventories, and audit support.<br>Support ongoing optimization and reporting enhancements within Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).<br>Identify and implement process improvements related to costing, inventory controls, and financial reporting.<br><br>Qualifications<br><br>Bachelor&#39;s degree in Accounting or Finance.<br>5+ years of cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment.<br>Strong understanding of standard costing, inventory accounting, and variance analysis.<br>Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) ERP preferred.<br>Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.<br>Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with finance and operations teams.
