This role is ideal for a skilled leader with a strong background in financial management and supervisory experience who thrives in a dynamic environment. The Director of Accounting / Controller will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting and compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities:• Lead and manage the month-end closing process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.• Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements in compliance with regulatory requirements.• Implement and monitor accounting processes using tools such as BlackLine, Workday ERP, and Workday Financial Management.• Coordinate and support financial audits, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all reporting.• Supervise and mentor the accounting team, fostering growth and maintaining high performance.• Ensure compliance with healthcare industry financial regulations and standards.• Analyze financial data to provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership.• Collaborate with other departments to enhance operational efficiency and financial decision-making.• Manage and optimize payroll processes using systems like UKG Pro.• Drive improvements in financial reporting systems and processes to align with organizational goals.
