<p>A trendy, growing, education-based plaintiff personal injury firm is seeking an experienced Spanish-speaking intake legal assistant to join their growing team.</p><p><br></p><p><em>Prior personal injury intake experience is a must-have. In this role, you will focus on general ledger tasks, month-end close processes, and balance sheet reconciliations. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to various financial projects and analyses while leveraging your expertise in accounting systems and practices.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Perform thorough balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.<br>• Prepare and review journal entries to support the general ledger and month-end close processes.<br>• Assist with the preparation of accrual entries and variance analysis to identify and address discrepancies.<br>• Support corporate and sales tax-related tasks, including documentation and reporting.<br>• Conduct reviews of payroll balance sheet reconciliations to ensure proper allocation and recording.<br>• Collaborate on clearing historical transactions and resolving outstanding bank statement issues.<br>• Utilize SAP (S/4HANA) to manage customized accounting workflows and financial data.<br>• Provide assistance with ad hoc financial projects and reporting as needed.<br>• Contribute to the improvement of accounting procedures and internal controls.
