In partnership with finance leadership, this individual will help strengthen reporting, costing accuracy, and continuous improvement across manufacturing finance processes.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Act as the lead finance partner for can manufacturing operations, providing analysis and guidance that connects plant performance with broader financial goals.<br>• Build and maintain clear reporting on manufacturing costs, including materials, labor, overhead, inventory valuation, standard costs, bills of materials, and routing assumptions.<br>• Review cost of goods sold and production variances to identify trends in yield, scrap, downtime, efficiency, throughput, changeovers, and margin performance.<br>• Collaborate with operations, procurement, engineering, and supply chain teams to uncover savings opportunities and improve plan-to-produce performance.<br>• Support the accuracy and effectiveness of cost accounting, production reporting, inventory controls, and data quality through ongoing process and system enhancements.<br>• Develop financial models and business cases for capital investments such as equipment upgrades, automation, process improvements, and capacity expansion.<br>• Track the financial outcomes of completed capital projects, compare actual performance to projections, and recommend actions to improve return on investment.<br>• Contribute to additional financial analyses, operational reviews, and strategic initiatives as business needs evolve.
