This opportunity is ideal for an experienced, detail-oriented accounting specialist who can stabilize day-to-day finance operations, support distributed teams, and deliver clear, timely reporting for leadership. The role offers a primarily remote setup with periodic travel and calls for someone who is comfortable guiding complex accounting activity in a fast-moving project environment.</p><p><br></p><p><u>Responsibilities:</u></p><p>• Direct core accounting activities across multiple entities and locations, ensuring reliable execution of daily processes and an efficient month-end close.</p><p>• Produce and review financial statements that align with U.S. GAAP, providing management with accurate insight into business performance.</p><p>• Partner with operational and executive leaders on budgeting, cash planning, forecasting, and broader financial decision-making.</p><p>• Oversee construction-focused accounting functions such as job costing, revenue recognition, project reporting, and profitability evaluation.</p><p>• Lead efforts to enhance financial systems, including QuickBooks configuration, conversion, integration, and ongoing optimization.</p><p>• Support the effective use of payroll and related business platforms, while improving data accuracy and reporting consistency.</p><p>• Strengthen internal controls, streamline accounting workflows, and implement practical process improvements across the organization.</p><p>• Guide, coach, and align accounting team members in different locations to promote standardized practices and dependable execution.</p><p>• Travel as needed to collaborate with site and leadership teams, assess accounting needs, and support operational continuity.</p><p>• Maintain stability during a period of transition by identifying issues quickly and implementing effective financial and reporting solutions.</p>
