The ideal candidate will oversee core accounting activities, support planning and forecasting, and help maintain strong controls and regulatory compliance across the facility.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Direct plant finance activities, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis, to support informed operational and strategic decisions.</p><p>• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results, then present clear insights and performance trends to plant and corporate leadership.</p><p>• Evaluate operating results against budget and forecast, identify key drivers of variances, and recommend actions to improve cost performance and efficiency.</p><p>• Manage manufacturing cost accounting processes by assessing product costs, labor usage, overhead, raw materials, maintenance spending, and inventory performance.</p><p>• Oversee the general ledger, journal entry review, account reconciliations, and month-end close to ensure accurate and timely financial records.</p><p>• Administer fixed asset and capital expenditure accounting, including depreciation, asset tracking, and related financial reporting requirements.</p><p>• Supervise payroll review, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash control practices to protect company assets.</p><p>• Lead and develop the accounting team by setting goals, coaching performance, promoting cross-training, and building succession readiness.</p><p>• Maintain effective internal controls and coordinate audit activity while ensuring adherence to GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, company policies, and applicable regulations.</p><p>• Prepare required governmental and industry-related financial reports, including tax and compliance filings relevant to the facility.</p>
