This position supports day-to-day accounting activities in a fund accounting setting, with a strong focus on accuracy, organization, and timely financial processing. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling a high volume of transactions while helping maintain reliable records across multiple funds and meeting non-profit accounting standards. This is a part time position that is remote but candidates MUST be local to the Truckee area.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Manage incoming invoices and payment processing to ensure vendors are paid accurately and on schedule.</p><p>• Record and monitor customer or grant-related receivables, applying payments and following established accounting procedures.</p><p>• Complete regular bank and account reconciliations to verify balances and resolve discrepancies promptly.</p><p>• Prepare routine journal entries and supporting documentation as needed for monthly accounting activities.</p><p>• Enter large volumes of financial data with close attention to accuracy, coding, and completeness.</p><p>• Maintain accounting records across multiple individual funds within a structured fund accounting environment.</p><p>• Assist with ongoing accounting operations while helping uphold compliance with non-profit financial guidelines and reporting practices.</p><p><br></p><p>If interested, please apply today and for immediate consideration call Keisha at 775-828-0969</p>
