<p>We are looking for a dedicated Payroll & Benefits Specialist in Roseburg, Oregon. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a vital role in managing payroll processes, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the team with accurate and timely payroll management. This is an onsite role requiring strong attention to detail and effective time management skills.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Process payroll for a workforce of over 300 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.</p><p>• Handle multi-state payroll operations, including tax filings and state-specific requirements.</p><p>• Enter new hires and terminations into the payroll system, ensuring seamless onboarding and offboarding processes.</p><p>• Prepare and distribute final checks for departing employees in accordance with legal guidelines.</p><p>• Generate quarterly payroll reports and reconcile payments to maintain accurate records.</p><p>• Track and manage retirement plan contributions and deposits for all employees.</p><p>• Monitor and reconcile state and federal tax filings to ensure timely and accurate submissions.</p><p>• Maintain meticulous records of payroll transactions and address discrepancies promptly.</p><p>• Collaborate with internal teams to support payroll-related inquiries and resolve issues efficiently</p>
