  • We are looking for a detail-oriented Rebate Analyst to support rebate and deductions activities within a Health Pharm/Biotech environment in Durham, North Carolina. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for a finance specialist who is comfortable working with large data sets, interpreting contract terms, and verifying customer invoice accuracy. The role requires strong analytical judgment, advanced Excel capability, and the ability to translate financial information into accurate payment support and reporting.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Build and maintain detailed Excel analyses using formulas, lookups, and pivot tables to evaluate rebate-related data.<br>• Review contract language to identify the specific rebate provisions, pricing terms, and calculation drivers needed for financial validation.<br>• Recalculate customer invoices against contract terms to confirm accuracy and investigate discrepancies or unsupported claims.<br>• Produce recurring and ad hoc sales-based reports that support rebate accruals, payment activity, and financial review.<br>• Prepare rebate payment support and submit approved payment information to Accounts Payable for processing.<br>• Analyze deductions and rebate variances to identify trends, exceptions, and potential financial exposure.<br>• Partner with internal stakeholders to clarify contract interpretation, resolve payment questions, and improve reporting accuracy.
