The ideal candidate will excel in month-end processes, tax compliance, and inventory management while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Oversee month-end close procedures, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.</p><p>• Manage the general ledger and prepare journal entries for various accounts.</p><p>• Conduct account reconciliations, including bank, credit card, and cash accounts.</p><p>• Reconcile inventory accounts to maintain accurate records of stock levels.</p><p>• Review and handle monthly account reconciliations to ensure compliance with accounting standards.</p><p>• Calculate and prepare excise tax filings and ensure compliance with sales and use tax regulations.</p><p>• Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and improve financial processes.</p><p>• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions.</p><p>• Document and maintain accounting procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy.</p><p>• Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation to external auditors.</p><p><br></p><p>A degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
