Responsibilities: • Lead day-to-day coordination of quality assurance activities to support compliance with company standards, customer expectations, and applicable food industry regulations. • Review quality and performance data, identify recurring issues or risk patterns, and help drive corrective and preventive actions that improve products and processes. • Create, revise, and organize controlled quality documents such as procedures, work instructions, specifications, records, and technical summaries. • Partner with teams across operations, research and development, supply chain, procurement, and regulatory affairs to advance product quality and continuous improvement efforts. • Conduct supplier assessments, site inspections, incident reviews, and root cause investigations to strengthen compliance and operational effectiveness. • Track supplier performance against food safety and customer quality requirements, and follow through on actions needed to close gaps. • Support customer compliance activities for major retail and foodservice accounts by preparing documentation, responding to requests, and helping maintain account-specific standards. • Assist with internal audits, third-party certification reviews, customer visits, and regulatory inspections by preparing records and coordinating follow-up actions. • Compile quality metrics and compliance reporting for leadership while helping promote a culture centered on food safety, accountability, and ongoing improvement.
