Responsibilities:• Manage a portfolio of settlement, special needs, directed, and court-supervised trusts, ensuring each account is administered according to governing documents and applicable regulations.• Advise beneficiaries and their support networks on distributions, trust processes, and planning considerations tied to major life events and ongoing care needs.• Review account activity, identify potential compliance or fiduciary concerns, and take proactive steps to address issues before they escalate.• Partner with attorneys, tax professionals, financial advisors, guardians, and care teams to coordinate trust-related matters and support effective case management.• Prepare and maintain detailed records of trust actions, client communications, and fiduciary decisions to support accurate administration and audit readiness.• Explain complex trust and benefit topics in a clear, respectful manner while delivering a high standard of service to beneficiaries and families.• Support preservation of public benefit eligibility by applying knowledge of Medicaid, Social Security, and other means-tested programs when evaluating distributions and trust activity.• Use trust accounting platforms, case management tools, and Microsoft Office applications to track activity, maintain documentation, and complete administrative tasks accurately.
