Systems Engineer<p><strong>Role Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Use expert-level administration and optimization of hosts and servers to ensure high degree of availability and appropriate resource management</li><li>Standardize and automate processes using scripting technology</li><li>Install and configure operating systems, software, and hardware components, and leverage IT staff for routine tasks by clearly documenting design, maintenance, and support procedures</li><li>Test software routinely for bugs, redundancies, and security issues</li><li>Conduct high-level root-cause analysis of service interruptions and establish preventive measures</li></ul>Systems Administrator<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Install, configure, and maintain VMware vSphere, ESXi hosts, and vCenter Server.</li><li>Monitor system performance, ensure uptime, and optimize VMware environments.</li><li>Implement and manage VMware features such as vMotion, DRS, HA, and snapshots.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to virtualized infrastructure, servers, and storage.</li><li>Perform regular system patching, updates, and security hardening.</li><li>Work with storage and networking teams to ensure optimal performance.</li><li>Manage backup and disaster recovery solutions, including VMware vSphere Replication.</li><li>Maintain documentation, including system configurations and procedures.</li><li>Support Windows/Linux servers in virtualized environments.</li><li>Assist in capacity planning, scaling, and performance tuning.</li><li>Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices.</li></ul><p><br></p>
