- <p>We are seeking a Cyber Security Engineer with strong networking and firewall expertise to support an enterprise micro-segmentation initiative. This role will focus on analyzing network traffic, identifying application dependencies, and developing security policies that control communication between applications, infrastructure, and end-user devices.</p><p>The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with stateful firewalls, network security rules, and traffic analysis. Experience with micro-segmentation platforms is highly desirable, but strong networking fundamentals are the priority. Experience with Illumio is a plus.</p><p>Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Analyze application and infrastructure traffic flows to identify communication patterns and dependencies.</li><li>Design, document, test, and implement micro-segmentation policies and network security rules.</li><li>Determine which network communications should be permitted or denied based on application requirements and security standards.</li><li>Collaborate with application owners, infrastructure teams, and security engineers to validate communication requirements.</li><li>Develop and refine enforcement policies to improve security and reduce overly permissive network access.</li><li>Support the remediation and replacement of legacy security rules.</li><li>Participate in implementation planning, testing, change management, and production deployments.</li><li>Track assignments, document findings, and manage work through project management tools.</li><li>Communicate technical findings and policy recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li><li>Work collaboratively across geographically distributed teams to support project execution.</li></ul><p><br></p>
