This role is ideal for a senior consultant who can bring structure to inventory finance operations, strengthen reporting accuracy, and improve collaboration across key business functions. The consultant will help establish dependable inventory visibility, refine accounting processes, and create practical procedures that can be maintained by internal teams. </p><p><br></p><p><u>Responsibilities:</u></p><p>• Direct initiatives that enhance inventory and cost accounting practices in an Oracle Fusion environment.</p><p>• Perform detailed reconciliation of inventory-related general ledger balances and investigate variances to resolution.</p><p>• Design and maintain inventory roll-forward schedules and recurring reconciliation routines to support ongoing accuracy.</p><p>• Increase transparency into receipts, shipments, goods in transit, and stored inventory through improved analysis and reporting.</p><p>• Review accruals, clearing activity, and freight-related costs to strengthen tracking and financial accuracy.</p><p>• Develop reporting tools that support inventory oversight, accounts payable workflows, and broader financial reporting needs.</p><p>• Establish practical procedures and internal controls that promote scalable and sustainable inventory accounting operations.</p><p>• Guide and coach internal staff members taking on inventory accounting responsibilities to build long-term capability.</p><p>• Collaborate with Accounting, Logistics, Sales, Operations, Accounts Payable, and Inventory teams to align data, processes, and reporting expectations.</p><p>• Lead cross-functional issue resolution efforts, including post-implementation cleanup and process stabilization activities related to Oracle Fusion.</p>
