  • <p>Robert Half is currently recruiting for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our client&#39;s team in Knoxville, Tennessee. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the organization’s overall financial operations. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounting who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.</p><p>• Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.</p><p>• Process accounts payable transactions, including vendor payments and invoice verification.</p><p>• Handle month-end close procedures, ensuring all financial data is finalized and reported.</p><p>• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.</p><p>• Conduct credit card and account reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.</p><p>• Track and manage fixed assets, including depreciation schedules and related accounting tasks.</p><p>• Prepare bank deposits and maintain accurate records of all transactions.</p><p>• Utilize Sage Intacct and Microsoft Excel to streamline accounting processes and generate reports.</p><p><br></p><p>The position requires a bachelor&#39;s degree in accounting or finance. The position is onsite and will require someone to live in the Knoxville and surrounding areas. For immediate consideration please contact Lisa Coker at 865-370-2084 to set up an interview</p>
