  • <p>We are looking for a driven and meticulous Operations Specialist to oversee the daily functions of a mentoring program in Kansas City, Missouri. This long-term contract role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills and excellent written and verbal communication abilities to prepare high-quality documents and presentations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, and contribute to continuous program growth and improvement.</p><p><strong><u>SATURDAY&#39;S ARE REQUIRED!! </u></strong>You will have Sunday and one additional weekday off. </p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Plan and coordinate weekly mentoring sessions, ensuring engaging and impactful activities for participants.</p><p>• Develop innovative educational programs and implement strategies to enhance participant engagement.</p><p>• Track and manage data on mentees, including attendance, academic achievements, individual goals, and program progress.</p><p>• Schedule and conduct one-on-one meetings with mentees and their parents or guardians to establish and review annual action plans.</p><p>• Collaborate with community partners to create opportunities in education, trades, and career development for participants.</p><p>• Lead projects aimed at expanding the mentoring program and document progress to share with stakeholders.</p><p>• Organize logistics for program events, including seminars, field trips, meetings, and other activities.</p><p>• Coordinate meal services in partnership with community groups for weekly mentoring sessions.</p><p>• Mentor and provide support to entry-level staff, fostering their growth and development.</p><p>• Assist leadership with additional tasks and projects as needed.</p>
