- <p>Senior Scrum Master (Data & AI)</p><p><br></p><p>Overview</p><p>A large enterprise organization is seeking an experienced <strong>Senior Scrum Master</strong> to support multiple <strong>Data & AI engineering teams</strong>. This role focuses on enabling teams delivering cloud-based data platforms, analytics solutions, and AI/ML initiatives.</p><p>The ideal candidate is a strong servant leader and Agile coach who can partner effectively with Product Owners, engineers, and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement, healthy delivery flow, and meaningful business outcomes in a complex, matrixed environment.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Act as a <strong>servant leader</strong> for Data & AI teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and psychological safety</li><li>Coach teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile principles and best practices</li><li>Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives</li><li>Support backlog refinement, prioritization, and breaking down work into deliverable increments</li><li>Use flow metrics (cycle time, throughput, predictability) to guide continuous improvement</li><li>Identify and remove impediments; partner with leadership to resolve systemic issues</li><li>Enable effective collaboration across platform engineering, data engineering, analytics, and business teams</li><li>Promote transparency and effective use of Agile tooling (e.g., Azure DevOps or similar)</li></ul><p>Technical Environment (No Hands-On Development Required)</p><ul><li>Cloud data platforms and data pipelines</li><li>Analytics and reporting environments</li><li>AI / machine learning initiatives</li><li>CI/CD and DevOps workflows (conceptual understanding)</li></ul><p>You don’t need to build solutions—but you should be comfortable speaking the language and facilitating technical conversations.</p><p>Required Qualifications</p><ul><li>5–8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach</li><li>At least 2+ years supporting data engineering, platform engineering, analytics, or AI/ML teams</li><li>Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills</li><li>Experience working in complex, cross-functional, enterprise environments</li></ul><p>Preferred Qualifications</p><ul><li>Agile certification(s) such as CSM, PSM II, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent</li><li>Experience using Agile delivery tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar</li></ul><p><br></p>

This individual should be comfortable creating and executing test cases, identifying and documenting defects, managing test data, and contributing to improvements in QA practices.</p><p><br></p><p>Experience in <strong>agency operations for annuity and life business</strong> is strongly preferred, as this role will support workflows in that domain.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>Test Planning and Execution</strong></p><ul><li>Review business requirements, user stories, and technical designs to develop effective <strong>test scenarios, test cases, and test plans</strong>. </li><li>Perform <strong>manual testing</strong> across Salesforce and Salesforce Experience portals to validate functionality, usability, integration points, and end-to-end business workflows. </li><li>Execute <strong>functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing</strong> to ensure product quality and release readiness. </li><li>Validate data flows and integration behavior across multiple connected systems. </li></ul><p><strong>Automation Support</strong></p><ul><li>Create, maintain, and execute <strong>automated test scripts</strong> for selected business processes and regression scenarios. </li><li>Support automation initiatives using approved tools and frameworks, including <strong>ACCELQ</strong> where applicable. </li><li>Help determine which scenarios are best suited for automation versus manual testing. </li><li>Contribute to the stability, maintainability, and effectiveness of the automated test suite. </li></ul><p><strong>Defect Management and Analysis</strong></p><ul><li>Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps, expected results, and business impact. </li><li>Create bug stories and work closely with developers to support issue analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution. </li><li>Retest fixes and confirm issue resolution across impacted workflows. </li></ul><p><strong>Test Data and Acceptance Criteria</strong></p><ul><li>Define, create, locate, and manage <strong>test data</strong> needed to support the test strategy. </li><li>Partner with the team to help define <strong>acceptance criteria</strong> and translate requirements into practical test coverage. </li><li>Create and execute tests using <strong>Gherkin syntax</strong> where applicable. </li></ul><p><strong>Collaboration and Agile Delivery</strong></p><ul><li>Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to understand requirements and quality expectations. </li><li>Participate in <strong>Agile ceremonies</strong>, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, and sprint reviews. </li><li>Communicate testing progress, risks, blockers, and quality concerns in a clear and timely manner. </li><li>Lead or facilitate meetings as needed to support testing efforts, issue review, or release readiness. </li></ul><p><br></p>
