We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented paralegal to support our family law and personal injury practice in Carmel, Indiana. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to work on complex cases involving significant assets and intricate injury claims. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in litigation and demonstrate strong communication skills to assist clients and manage casework effectively. <br> Responsibilities: • Communicate with clients to address inquiries, provide updates, and manage expectations throughout the legal process. • Conduct client intake and assess potential cases for qualification. • Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery documents, and responses for family law cases. • Gather and organize medical records and other documentation essential to personal injury claims. • Prepare and submit demand packages to insurance companies or opposing parties. • Collaborate with lien holders to verify and resolve information as part of case management. • Respond to discovery requests and draft discovery responses in alignment with case strategy. • Manage trial preparation tasks, including organizing case files and evidence. • Utilize case management software to track deadlines, client communications, and case progress. • Assist attorneys with civil litigation tasks, ensuring compliance with legal procedures. <br> The pay range for this position is 22 to 27.
