  • We are looking for a highly skilled Vice President to join our team in Los Angeles, California. This position involves leading the underwriting and management of a diverse portfolio of Commercial &amp; Industrial (C&amp;I) and syndicated loans ranging from $5 million to $100 million. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in credit risk assessment, financial analysis, and portfolio management, while fostering strong collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Oversee the underwriting process for C&amp;I and syndicated loans, performing detailed financial analysis and assessing credit risk.<br>• Evaluate borrower creditworthiness and ensure transactions align with the organization’s risk appetite and business objectives.<br>• Collaborate with clients to analyze business models, cash flow structures, and financing needs.<br>• Conduct stress testing and sensitivity analyses to inform loan structure, covenants, and pricing strategies.<br>• Prepare comprehensive credit memos and present findings to the Credit Committee with clear recommendations.<br>• Manage and monitor an active loan portfolio, ensuring compliance with covenants, timely renewals, and risk-rating updates.<br>• Identify emerging risks and recommend action plans for non-performing or downgraded assets.<br>• Stay informed about industry trends, macroeconomic factors, and regulatory changes that impact relevant sectors.<br>• Ensure all portfolio activities comply with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.<br>• Partner with relationship managers, clients, and third-party professionals to resolve transaction issues and finalize loan agreements.
