This role is vital in ensuring accurate financial records, efficient payroll processing, and providing administrative support for various operational functions. The ideal candidate will thrive in a manufacturing environment and demonstrate dependability, confidentiality, and excellent organizational skills.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Process payroll for employees across multiple locations, including onboarding new hires and managing timesheets.</p><p>• Accurately code and input financial data into the company’s processing systems, adhering to established procedures.</p><p>• Review and reconcile computer-generated reports, identifying discrepancies and making necessary corrections.</p><p>• Handle invoicing for both intercompany and external sales, including veneer and by-product transactions.</p><p>• Prepare regular production reports, such as statistical data and chip reports, to support operational analysis.</p><p>• Assist with accounts payable by photocopying logs and forwarding information for payment processing.</p><p>• Provide administrative support to the mill manager, including general office tasks and document preparation.</p><p>• Conduct monthly physical inventory and assist with year-end audit processes.</p><p>• Maintain clear and effective verbal and written communication with internal and external stakeholders.</p><p>• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and ensure smooth operations.</p><p><br></p><p>The salary range for this position is $55,000 to $65,000. Benefits available with this position include medical, dental and vision; life and disability insurances; participation in the company’s 401(k) plan with a 3% match and 10 days of paid vacation, 7 days of paid sick leave and 9 paid holidays per calendar year.</p>

The Accounts Payable & Payroll Clerk reports to the Accounting/HR Manager and will work in an open office environment. </p><p>This role is 100% In-Office and does <u>not</u> offer remote or hybrid work options.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p><p>The Accounts Payable & Payroll Clerk plays a key support role within the Accounting and HR functions, responsible for accurate and timely processing of accounts payable and payroll activities directly within QuickBooks. This role supports a fast‑paced, hands‑on office environment and is ideal for someone who is detail‑oriented, service‑minded, and comfortable working across multiple accounting functions.
