- We are looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant to join a team in El Paso, Texas on a contract basis with the potential for a permanent role. This position will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting timely close activities, and ensuring the integrity of core accounting processes. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge and a hands-on approach to reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger management.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Lead monthly closing activities by preparing schedules, reviewing balances, and helping ensure financial results are finalized on time.<br>• Maintain the general ledger by recording, analyzing, and correcting transactions to support accurate financial reporting.<br>• Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation and a strong focus on accuracy.<br>• Perform detailed account reconciliations to identify discrepancies, resolve variances, and keep balances current.<br>• Complete bank reconciliations regularly to confirm cash activity and investigate outstanding items.<br>• Review financial data for consistency and work with internal stakeholders to address accounting issues as they arise.
