The position works closely with cross-functional teams to align product intent, operational needs, testing expectations, and technical execution across the full annuity lifecycle.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Act as the lead annuity subject matter expert, advising teams on product setup, implementation planning, and operational preparedness for new offerings and enhancements.</p><p>• Collaborate with actuarial, product, operations, technology, and vendor partners to convert annuity designs into detailed business rules, workflows, calculation logic, and data requirements.</p><p>• Define end-to-end requirements covering illustrations, application processing, suitability review, policy issuance, administration, billing, commissions, servicing, withdrawals, claims, correspondence, and reporting.</p><p>• Evaluate product variations, state-specific rules, premium structures, rider selections, value calculations, surrender activity, beneficiary events, and compliance considerations to ensure complete requirement coverage.</p><p>• Provide direction to IT business analysts, developers, and quality teams so user stories, specifications, mappings, and acceptance criteria accurately reflect annuity product intent.</p><p>• Develop and review business validation scenarios, expected outcomes, calculation checks, exception handling cases, and regression considerations to strengthen testing quality.</p><p>• Participate in planning sessions, design discussions, backlog refinement, sprint activities, demos, defect reviews, and release readiness efforts to support timely and accurate delivery.</p><p>• Review configuration documents, product rules, data mappings, conversion assumptions, and third-party deliverables to confirm alignment with business objectives and implementation standards.</p><p>• Identify process gaps, operational risks, dependency issues, and control needs that could affect launch success, and recommend solutions before release.</p><p>• Support product validation and implementation activities related to system changes or organizational transition efforts when needed.</p>
