Responsibilities:• Drive timely month-end close activities by preparing and reviewing journal entries and ensuring financial records are complete and accurate.• Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations, investigate supporting subledger activity, and resolve outstanding discrepancies within established deadlines.• Administer and enhance the quarterly incentive accounting process by coordinating with HR and business leaders, calculating payouts, recording entries, and supporting statement preparation.• Oversee lease accounting activities under ASC 842, including maintaining lease records, preparing related entries, reconciling accounts, and supporting lease accounting system accuracy.• Support annual audit and tax preparation by assembling schedules, responding to requests, and organizing underlying financial documentation.• Evaluate accounting workflows for control effectiveness, document procedures, and lead efforts to improve internal controls and process consistency.• Collaborate with department leadership on automation, efficiency initiatives, cross-training, special projects, and resolution of accounting system issues affecting data integrity.
