<p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p><p>The Lead Access Control & Video Surveillance Technician is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electronic security systems, including access control, video surveillance (VMS), and related low‑voltage infrastructure. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while delivering professional customer service.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Install, program, test, and service access control systems (controllers, readers, locks, door hardware, power supplies)</li><li>Install, configure, and maintain video surveillance systems, including IP cameras, NVRs/DVRs, and video management software (VMS)</li><li>Pull, terminate, label, and test low‑voltage cabling (Cat5e/Cat6, coax, composite)</li><li>Program system software and integrate video surveillance and access control platforms</li><li>Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues</li><li>Perform system commissioning, inspections, and preventative maintenance</li><li>Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams</li><li>Document installations, service work, and system configurations</li><li>Provide basic end‑user training and system handoff</li><li>Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, and internal teams</li><li>Adhere to safety standards, company policies, and industry best practices</li></ul><p><br></p>
