In this contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in managing financial records, preparing tax filings, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role offers a great opportunity to contribute to a wholesale distribution organization's financial operation. Any experience with Epicor would be a plus!</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Prepare and file corporate tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.</p><p>• Manage and reconcile sales tax filings for multiple jurisdictions.</p><p>• Record and maintain journal entries to support accurate financial reporting.</p><p>• Oversee general ledger activities, ensuring all transactions are properly documented and balanced.</p><p>• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including account reconciliations and adjustments.</p><p>• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and streamline accounting processes.</p><p>• Conduct periodic audits to verify the accuracy of financial data and adherence to company policies.</p><p>• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and accounting standards to ensure ongoing compliance.</p><p>• Provide support during financial reviews and external audits.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>If interested in this role please apply, then directly call (423)237-7921.</u></strong></p>
