This position sits between traditional accounting and financial operations, giving you exposure to reconciliations, reporting, inventory, month-end close, and process improvement.</p><p>You won't simply be entering transactions all day. You'll be expected to <strong>investigate discrepancies, identify trends, and help the team make its accounting processes cleaner and more efficient.</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DO</strong></p><ul><li>Analyze general ledger activity and investigate unusual transactions</li><li>Prepare account reconciliations and supporting schedules</li><li>Assist with month-end and year-end close</li><li>Review inventory-related accounting activity</li><li>Reconcile operational data to financial records</li><li>Analyze variances and research discrepancies</li><li>Assist with journal entries and accruals</li><li>Prepare recurring accounting and management reports</li><li>Review transactions for appropriate coding</li><li>Partner with Operations, Purchasing, and Inventory teams</li><li>Maintain accurate financial documentation</li><li>Assist with internal and external audit requests</li><li>Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows</li><li>Support special projects for the Controller and accounting leadership</li></ul>
