In this role, you will help keep broadcast operations running smoothly by maintaining critical RF equipment, resolving technical issues, and supporting infrastructure improvements. This position is ideal for someone who combines strong hands-on engineering ability with a practical understanding of broadcast compliance and signal quality. Responsibilities:• Oversee the installation, upkeep, and repair of RF transmission equipment serving FM, HD Radio, and television broadcast operations.• Troubleshoot transmitter, antenna, audio path, and studio-to-transmitter link issues to restore service quickly and maintain consistent signal delivery.• Carry out preventive maintenance and urgent field repairs on solid-state broadcast transmitters, including systems manufactured by Gates and Nautel.• Track equipment performance, review technical readings, and help ensure all broadcast facilities operate within applicable regulatory and engineering standards.• Maintain organized engineering records, service logs, and technical reports to support operational continuity and compliance needs.• Contribute to equipment upgrades, technical deployments, and the integration of new broadcast technologies across multiple facilities.• Work closely with programming and operations teams to reduce interruptions and support dependable on-air performance.• Participate in an on-call support rotation to address after-hours outages and technical emergencies at transmitter and broadcast sites.
